Circuit of Ireland 2009 - Meeting -
Meeting on 10th October in the lounge bar at 20:00 (8pm), The Bay Hotel, Arklow. The purpose of which is for committee selection, registration for anyone interested in taking part in the run or collecting and a general open forum for open discussion about the proposed 2009 run and what stage of planning we are at. The meeting will be chaired by Lee Smith, Mark Whelan and Kevin Harper.
At this point I would like to ask that anyone who registers is sure that they will take part, no time wasters please as this can cause difficulties later on with hotels, route planning etc.
Minimum collection amounts per individual will be agreed on night, should these amounts not be reached, run accomodation must be paid by the individual in advance of the run to ensure participation.

Posted 21/07/2008 - TT 2009,Race week, "BIKER ISLAND"
9 members of the Roosters MCC will be attending race week 2009 on the island. Leaving on Saturday, 06th June 09, and returning on Saturday, 13th June 09, this includes Mad Sunday and the full race week. Those going are: Mark Whelan, Mick Whelan, Kevin Harper, Lee Smith, Thomas Furlong, Stephen Reddy , Fergal Macken, Kevin Power and Noel Harper.
It would be great if more could come along but you will need to book it yourself as it is a real pain finding accomodation for race week, if I can help in any way, let me know.
Now is the time to book guys, most accomodation sites look for a booking of 6 days minimum and the Steam packet company have plenty of availability at this point.
The more the merrier ++ ,so book now for a great week

Posted 02/07/2008 - IN MEMORY OF "ANTO" O'BRIEN
Roosters MCC have been asked by the family of the late Anto O'Brien if we could provide an honor procession at the Anthony's funeral on this Thursday, 3rd July with as many motorcycles as possible. Anto had a passionate love of motorbikes and this was one of his last wishes.
I understand this is very short notice, but I am sure many of you would like to attend on this occasion. If possible, the meeting point for us will be the Castlepark, carpark as the funeral procession is due to leave "Hudsons Funeral parlour" at 09:20 am. I suggest we all try to meet at 09:00 on Thursday morning or as close to this as possible.

Meeting Place : Murphys Bar, Main Street, Arklow

This will be the official handover and acceptance of funds lodged to "The Friends of St Lukes" from the Circuit of ireland 2008 in the form of a "GIANT" cheque handover. i would appreciate as many of the riders, families, friends, collectors and all involved in raising funds this year to attend. Event will be followed by a discussion on Circuit of ireland 2009.

Many thanks to all the people from far and wide that attended the event night in aid of St Luke's at the Bay Hotel on Easter Sunday, and in support of the efforts of the Circuit of ireland team 2008. You support and sponsorship of this event is greatly appreciated. I hope everyone had a great evening.
